O-1
Visas for individuals who possess extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics.
The O visa is an excellent way for extraordinarily talented individuals to come to the United States on a temporary basis to participate in their specific field of talent. These individuals also could bring their assistants, if any, and their family members with them as well. The United States does not cap the number of available O visas each year. Further, the O-1 petition can be approved for up to three years and extensions may be granted indefinitely, depending on the continuing need for the individual’s assignments, projects, etc.
Together, there are four different types of O visas one could be eligible for: O-1A, O-1B O-2 & O-3.
Consult with Elliott Immigration Law for more information on these types of visas and the eligibility process.
